How to Book

Availability

The Lighthouse is available from £260 per night.  A full table of rates is set out at the bottom of this page.

Availability is shown in the calendar to the right.  Because we let the house through a number of channels please confirm availability before making any plans through the contact form on this page.

Key terms and conditions are set out on this page below.  You can download a copy of the standard contract, and an overview of the house's facilities.

Once a booking has been approved we can accept payment electronically, although we will soon introduce the option for payment by way of a Paypal button at the foot of this page.

Basis for Rental

  • The property is normally rented from a Friday to a Friday,

  • Check out time by 10am and no check in before 4 pm.

  • During July to September and Christmas/New Year the minimum stay is 7 nights. 

  • For the rest of the year the minimum stay is 4 nights

Restrictions

  • 7 guests maximum

  • Primary Renter must be 25 years or above

  • Not suitable for under 5's - steep internal and external wooden staircases.

  • No pets - this is strictly observed to protect other guests who may have allergies.

  • No parties/events

  • No smoking

Payment

50% of rental fee is required to secure a booking, plus £500 damage deposit (see below).  Balancing payment no later than 75 days prior to booking.

Cancellation

100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before arrival date. 50% refund if cancelled at least 30 days before arrival date.

Bookings cancelled because of Covid-19 lockdown measures will be refunded in full.  See Covid-19 measures sheet

Deposit

£500 deposit at the time of booking as security against damage.  This amount will be returned (subject to any necessary deduction) within 2 weeks of the end of the stay.

Damage and incidentals

You will be held responsible for any damage to the rental property that is caused by you or your party during your stay.

Payment

Once we have agreed a rental with you we can either accept payment by paypal account or by agreement electronically.

Please do not make any payments until we have confirmed availability.
